In addition, the site has useful information on a range of topics such as back injury prevention, dealing with discomfort, pain, injury and more.

The New Zealand Food Safety Authority protects and promotes public health and safety, in matters to do with food. Check out the food safety topics under the 'Consumers' link on the left of the screen. You will find information on chemicals in food, food allergies, foodborne illnesses and many more.

Food Safety Australia New Zealand develops food standards, and joint codes of practice with industry, covering the content and labelling of food sold in Australia and New Zealand. Click on their 'Food Matters' tag to see articles on food allergies, food labelling, food recalls and more.

The goal of the Iowa State University Extension Food Safety Project is to "develop educational materials that give the public the tools they need to minimize their risk of foodborne illness." The site has some good information on foodborne pathogens, hand washing practices and has streaming video on food safety topics.
